Thermegy Promise
We are unbiased energy efficiency consultants. That means, we don’t try to sell you anything. Our clients are as diverse as their energy efficiency solutions. Whether you’re a do-it-yourself handyman, or prefer to contract the job out; our advice is tailored to improve energy efficiency and save you money. We maintain a list of preferred independent contractors that we trust to provide quality service every time. If you think our recommended contractor did a less than professional job, we will re-scan the contested work for free. If it isn’t right, we will intervene with that contractor on your behalf. If you aren’t satisfied, neither are we.
We systematically survey your home or business indoors and out for sources of energy loss. We scan walls, ceilings, vents, HVAC systems, water heaters, plumbing, windows, fireplaces, crawl spaces etc... When we identify a probable source of energy loss, we verify it perform additional analysis and offer solutions.
Every audit begins with a consultation. We would like to see a one year record of past energy usage and obtain your opinions on where your home may be losing energy. We follow with a systematic thermal and visual scan. Then, we generate a quality controlled report
with energy loss images and detailed recommendations.
No matter who you choose to conduct your thermal energy audit, be aware that the imagery can be inappropriately collected and/or misinterpreted to the untrained eye. Be sure your auditor is properly trained. A typical survey can take up to three hours in the home. If your energy auditor is more focused on selling a product than data collection, our advice is to hold on to your wallet.
Expect your audit results within 48 hours of our service. We deliver a comprehensive, easy to interpret report in digital format designed to facilitate decision making. Recommendations are prioritized by cost-effectiveness, problem severity, and risk to health or safety.
